Hi, my name is Martin Giles and I'm a 3D Generalist. Available for full, part-time, and contract opportunities.
Most recent work within the industry is 3D visualiser for David Salisbury creating high quality technical drawings along with 3D renders of our designs. I also work as a Freelance Artist for Gamma minus creating 3D props for the upcoming game Cold Comfort.
In the past, I have worked as a Freelance 3D Generalist at TOAD LONDON where I created 3D models and prepared 3D assets given to us by Production Company. I was also responsible for tweaking skinned elements to allow me to pose characters. I got to play a key role in the creation of the environment and lighting within the scene. My past experiences also include a Junior 3D artist at Shogun Entertainment, Junior Designer at Kwalee and Associate Artist at Wales Interactive.
I specialise in the creation of both hard surface and organic environments but also have the technical understanding of shaders and lighting techniques in games engines such as Unreal. My specialised software include 3DS Max, Zbrush, PhotoShop, Quixel Suite, Substance Suite and Unreal 4.
