Hi, my name is Martin Giles and I'm a Games Artist and Designer. Available for full, part-time, and contract opportunities.
Most recent work within the industry was for Digital Shoguns as an Intern Artist, Where I worked on multiple projects varying from an advert, animation shorts/series, and print work. I was responsible for modeling a range of assets including small props, buildings/large structures and even terrain. I was also responsible for the texturing of the models I created and the assembling of the environments to which my assets were used for.
In the past, I have worked as a 3D Generalist at TOAD LONDON where I created 3D models and assembled 3D Models sent to us. I was also responsible for Posing the characters, tweaking skinned elements and also played a key role in the creation of the Lighting within the scene. My past experiences also include a Junoir Designer at kwalee and Associate Artist at Wales Interactive.
I specialise in the creation of both hard surface and organic environments but also have the technical understanding of shaders and lighting techniques in games engines such as Unity and Unreal. The software I use is as follows: 3DS Max, Zbrush, PhotoShop, Quixel Suite, Substance Designer and Painter and Unreal 4.
